Being Lazy in the Sun

Maggie's Dog Bed

You have gotten to meet Maggie the Dog.

Now I will show you the bed I just made for her.

We recently moved in to a new house. 

Our new house has 2 floors and a basement.(old 1 only had 1 floor)

We only had one bed for Maggie.

And as most of you that know it takes a lot of money to move in to a new house.

 This is my Cheap way of making a dog bed

Above is what we started out with.

We just took a sleeping bag folded it up.

Half the time we have found Maggie sleeping in our sons bed.

We realized it is his blanket that she likes.

Which is one of those soft knotted blankets

We go to second hand stores to find craft ideas.

On our last trip we found the above knotted blanket.

We only paid $4.99 for the blanket.

I started out by cutting the blanket in half.

Then I slid the sleeping bag inside just like a pillow case.

Now this is all I did.

If you want to you can knot the side you cut.

Then make a cut threw the middle of the back panel only.

This will make it more like a pillow sham

I barely was able to get the new cover on before she was laying onto it.

It was Maggie the Dog approved.
